Web Site Changes
 | As you may have noticed, I’ve begun upgrading this web site to bring it into the 21st century. I got tired of looking at all that nasty HTML code that I wrote 10 years ago. I was able to get the CMS software that I want to use (TextPattern) installed and running yesterday. I was then able to converted the web site’s home page so that all the entries that were there are now articles in the CMS database. Eventually all content will be stored that way as well. The next step will be to come up with a new graphic design for the web site. Having the web site content in the database will make it far easier to do than than if I had to manually modified every one of the current static HTML web pages. The hard part will be the design itself. |
